A Decade in the Bobberverse
For over a decade, I’ve been creating the Happy Little Hairdos Bobberverse, reimagining Bob Ross through the lens of pop culture icons that influenced my life as a creative. Free from his Fro, Bob finds himself in cornrows and mowhawks, as rappers and comic book heroes. All in the spirit of the Democratization of Imagination.
But now, his legacy is under attack.
Indiana slashed $3.7 million from PBS; Bob’s home station was in Muncie, Indiana. Trump and company cut $9.4B!
Without PBS, there is NO BOB. Without Bob, no Happy Little Hairdos.
Any purchases here or donations on my GoFundMe help fuel the vision of the 2nd Annual Million Bob March

Million Bob March
Oct. 29, 2026
On October 29th—Bob Ross’s birthday—we’re marching on Washington, D.C. in the spirit of the Democratization of Imagination. If you can't make it to D.C., show up in the Bobberverse and and sign his digital birthday card via the linked Facebook post here on the site.

We’re calling on neighbors, dreamers, and believers in public broadcasting to show up dressed as Bob Ross for the Joy of Protesting. If you can’t make it to D.C., consider showing up at work, school, or in your community dressed as Bob.

PBS gave us Bob Ross. It gave us Fred Rogers. It gave us LeVar Burton, Mark Kistler, and an entire generation permission to imagine. When PBS is defunded, imagination becomes a luxury, and media becomes a weapon of the highest bidder.

We’re showing up to protect the right to dream on public airwaves. We're showing up to "Make America Paint Again."

I’m currently working with legislators to introduce a bill to help protect Bob’s Station, to secure funding and independence for public broadcasting in perpetuity.
And yes, we’ve got 10,000 Bobs ready to march. They live in the Happy Little Hairdos Bobberverse, and each one funds this movement. Buy a Bob, wear the fro, join the legion.

Purchase a Happy Little Hairdos NFT for this movement.
Since 2014, I've been asked "Why Bob?" and now I feel I've been prepared for this exact calling:
To protect the legacy of Bob Ross and the Democratization of Imagination.
In 2021, the project went live on the blockchain. But it wasn’t time yet.
Now it is.

On October 29th, bring your own Bob—your Digital Collectible—and join us in Washington D.C. for the Million Bob March. Your Digital Bob is your badge. Your banner.

This isn’t a drop. It’s a rising.
Your NFT is your badge. Your banner.

READ MY WHY
It all started with a single question—what does Bob Ross mean in a world that’s forgotten how to slow down, look closer, and imagine? My writing is another way I chase that answer, blending personal stories, cultural threads, and the happy little accidents that shape a life. This section is always growing. Come back often, or follow me on Medium.
